Tinubu appoints new DGs for NAN, NBC, FRCN, VON, others

A statement by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Ajuri Ngelale, said President Bola Tinubu tasked the new leadership in the important sub-sectors to innovate.

President Bola Tinubu on Thursday approved the appointments of eight new Chief Executive Officers for parastatals and agencies under the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation.

The appointees are Mr Ali Ali as MD of News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Mr Lanre Issa-Onilu as Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mr Salihu Dembos retained his office as DG of Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Dr. Muhammed Bulama;Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Mr Charles Ebuebu: National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) and Mr Jibrin Ndace of the Voice of Nigeria (VON).

Others are Dr Lekan Fadolapo, Director-General of Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), and Mr Dili Ezughah as the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Press Council.

A statement by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Ajuri Ngelale, said President Bola Tinubu tasked the new leadership in the important sub-sectors to innovate.

He said they should also create new opportunities for Nigerians to leverage upon through the effective reform of these key institutions of government which function to unify our people, reshape mindsets, and showcase this great nation to the rest of the world.
