SON, ITF, CAC, 11 others get new CEOs

The appointments are line with Tinubu’s resolve to base Nigeria's economic revival on the foundation of trade expansion through small, medium and large-scale industry facilitation in the country, the statement disclosed.

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointments of new Chief Executive Officers for several agencies and parastatals under the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment.

The agencies and parastatals include the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC), Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) and Small & Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN).

Others are National Sugar Development Council (NSDC), Nigeria Export Processing Zone Authority (NEPZA), Oil & Gas Free Zone Authority (OGFZA), Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN), Nigeria Commodities Exchange (NCE), Lagos International Trade Fair Complex (LITFCMB), Tafawa Balewa Square Management Board (TBSMB) and National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC).

This was disclosed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement made available to Persecondnews on Friday.

The appointments are line with Tinubu’s resolve to base Nigeria’s economic revival on the foundation of trade expansion through small, medium and large-scale industry facilitation in the country, the statement disclosed.

The appointed individuals for the respective agencies are Hussaini Ishaq Magaji (SAN), Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC); Afiz Ogun Oluwatoyin Industrial Training Fund (ITF); Kamar Bakrin, National Sugar Development Council (NSDC); Olufemi Ogunyemi, Nigeria Export Processing Zone Authority (NEPZA); Nonye Ayeni, Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC); and Aisha Rimi, Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC).

Others are Bamanga Usman Jada, Oil & Gas Free Zone Authority (OGFZA); Charles Odii, Small & Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN); Ifeanyi Chukwunonso Okeke, Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON); Rabiu Olowo, Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN); Anthony Atuche, and Nigeria Commodities Exchange (NCE), Veronica Safiya Ndanusa.

Others are Lagos International Trade Fair Complex (LITFCMB); Lucia Shittu, Tafawa Balewa Square Management Board (TBSMB); and Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin, National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC).

The appointments take immediate effect.
