In a video shared on social media, Grammy-winning artist, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known as Wizkid, has opened up about the grief he is experiencing following the recent loss of his beloved mother.

Wizkid, an icon in the music industry, described the passing of his mother as the most intense pain he has ever felt in his life.

This admission reflects the deep bond he shared with his late mum and the tremendous sense of loss he is grappling with.

A few weeks prior to this announcement, Wizkid laid his mother to rest in a grand ceremony in Lagos.

The event was attended by a diverse array of guests, including individuals from various walks of life, all offering their emotional support and prayers to the grieving artist and his siblings.

Wizkid’s words in the video captured the depth of his sorrow: “The pain is profound. It hurts deeply. The deepest pain I have ever felt in my life. I’m lost, but I pray that God will comfort every one of us.”
