Pres. Tinubu reports for duty in Presidential Villa, VP Shettima, others receive him

President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday assumed office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja following his inauguration on Monday.

Tinubu breezed into the office at 2:31pm.

Persecondnews reports that on hand to receive the President were Vice-President Kashim Shettima, and other top government officials.

They include the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila, the Permanent Secretary, State House, Mr Tijjani Umar, former Lagos State Commissioner for Finance, Mr Wale Edun, Mr Dele Alake, also a former Information Commissioner,and Rep. James Faleke.

Also in the line up are CBN Governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele, the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Malam Mele Kyari, who were scheduled to hold a meeting with the President.

The meeting may not be unconnected with the long queues at petrol stations and hike in pump price by marketers.
