Buhari’ll go down in history as Nigeria’s worst President — Femi Branch

1.3k

Apparently frustrated by the biting economic conditions of the country amid scarcity of fuel and redesigned naira notes, actor Femi Branch, says President Muhammadu Buhari will go down in the political history as Nigeria’s worst President.

Branch like other Nigerians have been subjected to untold hardships in the last few weeks owing to what Nigerians described as ill-timed redesigned naira notes which the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) claimed it was aimed at curbing vote-buying and fighting inflation among other economic challenges.

From fuel station to banks, Nigerians groan daily and lamented bitterly over the hike in the price of fuel and lack of cash in banks and other payment outlets across the country.

Branch, in a statement on his Instagram page on Friday, said it has never been so bad in any country that citizens buy their currency to survive.

He also took a swipe at the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, saying the apex bank boss would go down in history as the worst CBN governor in Nigeria’s history.

He said everything that could go bad in Nigeria has gone bad under this government, adding that no such thing has ever happened anywhere in the world.

“Buying your own currency in our country. Buhari, no doubt, is going down as the worst President Nigeria ever had.

“Emefiele will go down as worst CBN governor,” Persecondnews quotes from the Instagram page.
