Ikoyi skyscraper disaster: Death toll now 42 with 15 survivors

No fewer than 42 deaths have so far been recorded at the 21-storey Ikoyi skyscraper building which collapsed on Gerrard Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, on November 1.
Also to date, 15 lucky survivors have been announced by the Lagos State Government.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu disclosed this during his third visit to the Ikoyi skyscraper site on Saturday.
Persecondnews.com reports that Sanwo-Olu was accompanied on the inspection visit by in company of National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule, and others.
 Sanwo-Olu told reporters:“ Nine survivors were initially recorded with 42 deaths now. We have additional six survivors that were newly discovered at the Police Hospital Falomo, making total survivors 15.”
