Just in: Gunmen Attack Ex-CBN Gov. Soludo, two cops feared dead

A former Central Bank Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo, on Wednesday escaped death by hairsbreadth as unknown gunmen attacked the technocrat-politician at his country home in Anambra State.

Soludo, who has signified interest to contest the 2021 November 6 Anambra governorship poll, eas attacked in his home in Isuofia while having an interactive session with some members of the community.

Two policemen were reportedly killed in the attack, according to his media aide, Mr Christian Aburine.

He said the whereabouts of Prof. Soludo is still unknown, Aburine said in a statement.
