Dynamite bursts in Osun ex-governor Oyinlola’s country home in Okuku, chaotic situation takes over

Pandemonium has erupted in Okuku, the country home of one-time Governor of Osun, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, following a devastating explosion that shook the town to its foundation.

The dynamite-like explosion which occurred yesterday had destroyed the serenity of the ancient town of Okuku, the headquarters of Odo-Otin council area.

No casualty has been announced but a yet to be identified man was reported to have been badly injured in the explosion.

The explosion occurred opposite a second generation bank.

Persecondnews learnt that the explosive went off about 2.20pm, causing a chaotic situation with some residents scampering to safety.

Contacted, the state police command spokesman, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident but said the details were unavailable yet.
