Lagos airport receives first international flight few hours after FG reopens airspace

After a five-month closure of Nigeria’s airspace due to Coronavirus outbreak,
the first international flight landed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on Saturday.

Persecondnews had reported the Federal Government announced the reopening of Lagos and Abuja airports to international flights last week with effect from today.

A Middle East airlines flew into the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, about 2:26 pm to the excitement of airport officials and Nigerians.

The aircraft had taken off from Beirut, Lebanon.
