Nigeria sees jump in coronavirus deaths with 117 new cases

Nigeria is seeing an unsettling rise in coronavirus deaths, as comparatively lax restrictions across the country are coming under scrutiny.

The number of deaths increased from 22 to 25 across the nation.

In update released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), 117 new cases in eight states at at 11.25pm on 21st April, 2020.
