The ongoing 33rd African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopian capital, provided an inescapable opportunity for President Muhammadu Buhari and his erstwhile boss in the military, ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo to jaw-jaw and exchanged pleasantries.
Buhari and Obasanjo, a critic of the administration, met on Sunday at the venue with the two leaders, both former military Head of State, shaking hands and pumped about the opportunity.
According to reports, President Buhari also met with many prominent African leaders, diplomats and statesmen.
Among them are Rwandan President Paul Kagame, President Mahamadou Issoufou of the Niger Republic and President of African Development Bank, Akinwumi Adesina.
