Osun 2019: Adeleke notches win, but a slim one in PDP primary

Charismatic Senator Ademola Adeleke Saturday won a tight Peoples Democratic Party’s primary for the forthcoming State of Osun,  governorship election in the state with 1,569 votes.

He defeated the Chairman of Mutual Assurance, Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, his closest rival, who scored 1,562.

Adeleke will contest the governorship election with the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola.
