Salami says no to National Judicial Council

[dropcap]R[/dropcap]etired Justice Ayo Salami turned down National Judicial Council’s offer to be the Chairperson of the Corruption and Financial Crimes Cases Trial Monitoring Committee

The Chief Justice of Nigeria and Chairman of the NJC,  Walter Onnoghen,  has confirmed the resignation of retired Justice Ayo Salami.

Salami’s action is depriving the council of a top candidate for a critical  position in the  monitoring of proceedings at designated courts for financial and economic crimes across the nation.
