FCT Police recover three stolen vehicles, invite owners for identification

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command says it has recovered three vehicles suspected to have been stolen.

The recovered vehicles include a Honda Civic, ash colour, with registration number YAB 837 TA; a Toyota Sienna LE, ash colour, with registration number ABJ 75 JR; and a Coaster Bus, orange colour, without registration number.

According to a statement released on Thursday, August 14, by police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, and emailed to Persecondnews, the command said the recovery followed credible intelligence about abandoned vehicles near the Central Police Station on Monday, August 11.

The statement reads: “The FCT Police Commissioner Ajao Adewale appreciates residents of the FCT for their cooperation and continued support to the Police through timely and useful information.

“The Command calls on members of the public whose vehicles match the above description to visit the FCT Police Command Headquarters with proof of ownership for verification and collection.

“Residents are urged to report suspicious movements or criminal activities through the FCT Police Command’s emergency numbers: 08032003913, 08028940883.”
