Cubana Chief Priest Makes Bold Foray into Music, Declares No Turning Back

1.4k

Nigerian nightlife mogul and celebrity barman, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has officially declared his foray into the music industry.

Known for his flamboyant lifestyle and strong ties to top Nigerian artistes like Davido, the Imo-born entrepreneur says he is now ready to pursue his passion for music full-time.

The nightlife promoter, who recently dropped his debut single, made the announcement in a video posted on his verified Instagram page, where he appeared confident and excited about the new chapter.

“I’m not stopping. Music is my next move, and I’m going all in,” he said.

Over the years, Cubana Chief Priest has supported various artistes, most notably his close ally Davido, whom he has publicly backed during album launches and concerts.

His entry into music marks a shift from supporter to performer, signaling a new era in his career.

“I’ve always been around music. From the club to the concerts, to the studios. I’ve invested in talents, now it’s time to invest in myself,” he said in the video.

His transition appears to be a natural progression of his longstanding involvement in the entertainment space.

Chief Priest’s first single blends upbeat Afro rhythms with catchy street vibes, and already, fans are showing strong support online.

While he has not revealed the title of an upcoming album, he hinted that more singles are on the way and collaborations with top artistes are in the works.

“I’ve seen what music can do—how it brings people together, how it tells stories. Now I want to tell my own story,” he said, passionately.

Known for turning heads with his bold personality, his music promises to carry the same larger-than-life energy.

Despite some skepticism about his musical talent, he said he remained unfazed.

“People doubted me when I started nightlife too. Look at me now. I’m not just coming to try music—I’m coming to dominate,” he declared.
