FIFA, SWAN, Congratulate Dr. Sanusi on Re-appointment as NFF General Secretary

The world football governing body, FIFA, has formally congratulated Dr. Mohammed Sanusi on his re-appointment as General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for another three-year term.

In a letter signed by FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström, the soccer body expressed pleasure at Sanusi’s re-appointment, acknowledging the crucial role he plays in the governance and daily operations of the NFF.

Grafström applauded Sanusi’s expertise, stating that it will be instrumental in advancing the federation’s goals in Nigeria and Africa.

He also assured Sanusi of FIFA’s support, stating that the organization’s team, led by Chief of Member Associations Elkhan Mammadov, is at his disposal to collaborate on the development of the NFF and its interactions with FIFA.

Persecondnews reports that the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) also congratulated Sanusi on his re-appointment, describing it as a testament to his passion and commitment to the development of football in Nigeria.

In a letter signed by SWAN’s Secretary-General, Ikenna Okonkwo, the association expressed confidence in Sanusi’s ability to excel in his role and even take on more elevated positions in football administration.
