The police have removed the body of a yet-to- be identified man, who allegedly committed suicide in front of a closed shop at Okota in Isolo area of Lagos.

Persecondnews had broken the story as bewildered residents on Saturday morning woke up to find the dangling body of the young man believed to be in his late 20s.

Sources said the deceased had pulled off his shirt and apron which he hung on the nails, before hanging himself with a rope tied to the roof in front of the shop.

Confirming the incident, police spokesman, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said that about 7.20 a.m. on Saturday, one Promise Azuoye reported the incident at Isolo Police Division.
