Nigeria reports 17 deaths from coronavirus, its largest one-day total yet

Nigeria had its deadliest day of the coronavirus pandemic to date, as it reported 17 confirmed deaths on Wednesday.

In addition to the new deaths, the nation reported 409 new confirmed cases of COVID-19.

 

Nigeria’s total number of cases now stands at 13,873, with a total of 382 deaths from the disease, according to the NCDC.
