Senator Sunny Ugbuoji wins APC primary for governor in Ebonyi

Senator Sunny Ugbuoji has been declared winner in the APC governorship primary in Ebonyi state

Ugbuoji scored 785 votes to defeat Prof Bernard Odoh, his closest rival in a primary that  pitted competing visions for the future of the state against each other

The primary ended peacefully under the Electoral Committee  Chairmanship of SENATOR DR. DOMINGO A. OBENDE with the following results :-

Sen. Sunny Ugbuoji scored 785 votes and was declared the winner;

Arc Edward Nkweogu scored 395 votes;

Sen. Emannuel Agboti scored 75 votes;

Obasi Ogbonnaya Obasi scored 182 votes ;

Hon Kelechi Chima scored 70 votes;

Engr Paul Okorie scored 107 votes;

Comrade Christian scored 07 votes;

Chief Augustine Igwe Edeze scored  116 votes

Prof Bernard Odoh scored 519 votes
