The family of former Delta State Governor, Dr Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, has announced his death on the morning of October 19, 2026.
In a statement signed by Toju Anire Uduaghan, the family described his passing as a profound loss to his loved ones, Delta State and Nigeria.
Uduaghan served as Commissioner for Health from 1999 to 2003 and Secretary to the State Government from 2003 to 2007 before governing Delta State from 2007 to 2015.
The family paid tribute to his contributions to human and infrastructural development and prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul.
