Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Tinubu, has weighed in on a heated exchange between Arise TV anchor Rufai Oseni and Lere Olayinka, spokesman for FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.
Bwala remarked that Oseni would face a steep uphill battle attempting to advance the agenda of Labour Party’s 2027 presidential hopeful, Peter Obi, through the network.
PerSecondNews reports that the friction erupted live on air when Olayinka refused to address corruption queries posed by Oseni.
The tension escalated until co-anchor Ayo Mario intervened, abruptly pulling the plug on the segment.
Reacting in a post on X obtained by PerSecondNews, Bwala wrote: “The Obidient anchors (@ruffydfire and @ayomairoese) on Arise News morning show would find it tough to push Peter Obi’s agenda this election cycle because they have been found out.
“No objectivity, double standard and blackmail are their central motivating factors. It is either you remain objective and avoid blackmail, or you will be forced to end interviews abruptly.
