President Bola Tinubu received Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday evening.
Arriving alongside National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, the governor—dressed in navy blue traditional attire—met with the President for the first time since the recent governorship election.
The visit follows a congratulatory phone call from President Tinubu, who commended the election outcome as a sign of flourishing democracy and urged Governor Adeleke to foster unity across Osun State.
Four other officials from Osun State were spotted arriving at the premises through the corridors at about 5:40 pm.
The delegation included key officials and members of the Adeleke Campaign Council – Director-General Senator Lere Oyewumi, council member Sunday Bisi, Osun State Chief of Staff Akinleye Kazeem, and House of Representatives member Bamidele Salam (Ede North/Ede South/Egbedore/Ejigbo Federal Constituency).
