APC Zonal Congress: Fatal Auto Crash Claims One, Kastina ex-Deputy Gov, Others Hospitalized

A fatal road accident involving APC delegates from Katsina State has claimed the life of one person and left several others, including high-ranking officials, hospitalized.

The group was traveling from Sabuwa Local Government Area to attend the party’s North-West Zonal Congress in Kaduna on Wednesday when the crash occurred.

The victim has been identified as Dalhat Machika.

Among those currently receiving emergency care are Hon. Sirajo Umar Damari, former Deputy Governor of Katsina State and APC Chairman of Sabuwa council area.

According to Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Chief Press Secretary to the Katsina State Governor, the survivors are being treated at the Yusuf Dantsoho Memorial Hospital in Tudun Wada, Kaduna.

Following the congress, Governor Dikko Umaru Radda visited the facility to check on the victims’ welfare.

The Governor expressed his condolences to the bereaved and the injured, promising that the state government would provide full support throughout their recovery.

Accompanying Governor Radda on the hospital visit were several high-ranking officials, including Ibrahim Kabir Masari, Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, and Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, the Governor’s Chief of Staff, along with other senior members of the administration.
