Amidst growing rumors of interest from Manchester City, Enzo Maresca has signaled his intent to see out his five-year contract at Chelsea.

Speaking on the matter, the Italian dismissed the claims as entirely baseless, describing the reports as “100% speculation” and reaffirming his loyalty to the London club.

“I have a contract here until 2029, and my focus is only on Chelsea,” Maresca said.

“I’m very proud to be here. One week ago it was Juventus; now it’s Manchester City. I don’t pay attention because I know it’s not true”.

When asked directly if he’ll remain at Chelsea next season, Maresca replied, “Absolutely, Yes”.

This comes after he led Chelsea to a 2-0 win over Everton, despite saying “many people” were responsible for his “worst 48 hours” since joining the club.

Maresca downplayed suggestions of internal tensions, saying discussions with senior figures continued as normal.

Maresca’s comments come amid reports Manchester City is considering him as a potential successor to Pep Guardiola, who may leave at the end of the season.

Maresca previously worked at City as an Under-23 coach and Guardiola’s assistant.
