In a match that will be etched in the memories of fans for a long time, Manchester City held on to a 5-4 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Erling Haaland’s historic 100th Premier League goal was almost overshadowed by Fulham’s incredible comeback.
City dominated the first half, with Haaland scoring in the 17th minute and Tijjani Reijnders doubling their lead in the 37th.
Phil Foden’s two goals, including one just before halftime, seemed to have put City in control.
However, Emile Smith Rowe’s header just before the break sparked a remarkable Fulham resurgence.
The second half was a different story, with Alex Iwobi pulling one back for Fulham in the 57th minute.
Nigeria’s Samuel Chukwueze, who came on as a substitute, scored two stunning goals in the 72nd and 78th minutes, bringing Fulham within touching distance of an incredible comeback.
Despite the intense pressure, City held on to secure a vital three points away from home.
The win keeps Man City firmly in the title hunt, two points behind leaders Arsenal. Fulham’s spirited performance will leave them heartened but frustrated.
