Just In: Enugu North LP Senator Okey Ezea is dead

The Senator representing Enugu North Senatorial District, Okey Ezea, has passed away.

Ezea was elected under the Labour Party, and he is the only remaining party member in the National Assembly from Enugu State.

Persecondnews reports that Ezea passed away on Tuesday, November 18, in the United Kingdom while receiving treatment.

A popular on-air media personality, ‘Senator’ Chijinkem Ugwuanyi, broke the news on his Facebook page.

He wrote: “Sad News. Senator Okey Ezea, representing Enugu North, is dead… Rest in Peace.”

Persecondnews learnt that Ezea had earlier undergone medical treatment in Germany.

While details regarding his demise are yet to be clarified, the news has already sparked widespread reactions on social media platforms.
