Breaking: FCT Resident Doctors Commence Seven-Day Warning Strike

The Association of Resident Doctors, Federal Capital Territory (ARD-FCT) has started a seven-day warning strike.

In a statement released on Monday, September 8, the association’s president, Dr. George Ebong, and other executive members announced the strike.

The resident doctors described the FCT health system as having a “long-standing systemic failure” that needs immediate and thorough reform.

Ebong stressed that doctors in the FCT were under immense pressure, frequently covering multiple departments.
