Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has alighted from her car and proceeded to the National Assembly, Abuja, on foot.
Accompanied by some of her supporters including activist Aisha Yesufu, she is making her way into the National Assembly complex after she was initially denied access at the gate.
Persecondnews recalls that the lawmaker, who is serving a six-month suspension imposed on her by the upper lawmaking body, had vowed to resume plenary on July 22 after an Abuja Federal High Court’s verdict asking the Senate to recall her.
As she attempted to resume on Thursday, her convoy was stopped, denying her entry into the premises.
