Showcasing exceptional talent and determination, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) team has been a standout performer at the ongoing 22nd National Sports Festival (NSF) in Gateway State, Ogun.
Persecondnews correspondent covering the games report that at the end of Day 5, Team FCT had secured an impressive 12 medals, comprising 4 gold, 5 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
The gold medals were won in Ayo (2), Golf (1), and Wushu Kung Fu (1), demonstrating the team’s versatility and prowess across various sports disciplines.
In weightlifting, Team FCT won 4 silver medals, highlighting the athletes’ strength and endurance.
Additionally, the team secured silver medals in another event and bronze medals in Taekwondo, Beach Volleyball, and Weightlifting.
With several sporting events yet to commence, Team FCT remains optimistic about increasing its medal tally.
The athletes are determined to deliver outstanding performances in the remaining days of the festival, and the expectations are high.
The team’s impressive performance so far is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the athletes, coaches, and support staff.
