Tinubu Mourns Loss of 17 Young Lives in Zamfara Islamic School Fire Tragedy

President Bola Tinubu has extended his deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in a devastating fire outbreak at an Islamic school in Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State, on Tuesday night.

The fire, which ravaged the Tsangaya school, claimed the lives of 17 children and injured several others.

Tinubu expressed his sympathies to the state government, the school’s owners, and prayed for the speedy recovery of those receiving medical attention.

He also emphasized the importance of prioritizing children’s safety and security in all schools, public and private, and directed regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with safety standards.

The President prayed that God Almighty will grant eternal rest to the souls of the departed and comfort their loved ones.
