According to Mr. Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President (Information and Strategy), Tinubu will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron during his visit to France.

After his stopover in Paris, Tinubu will proceed to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to join other African leaders at the 46th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council and the 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the AU Heads of State.

The summit, scheduled to take place from February 12th to 16th, 2025, will bring together leaders from across the continent to discuss key issues affecting Africa.

The Nigerian leader is expected to arrive in Addis Ababa early next week for the African Union summit.

His participation in the summit underscores Nigeria’s commitment to regional and continental cooperation.

As stated by Onanuga, President Tinubu’s visit to France and Ethiopia is part of his efforts to strengthen bilateral ties and foster collaboration with other nations.
