Nollywood stars Femi Adebayo Salami, Mercy Aigbe, her husband Kazim Adeoti, and Dayo Amusa recently paid condolence visits to Fuji music icon, King Wasiu Ayinde (Kwam1 or K1 De Ultimate) following the passing of his mother, Alhaja Halima Anifowoshe. She was 105 years old.
Kwam1 announced his mother’s demise on Saturday, which sparked an influx of condolences from fans and well-wishers.
In accordance with Islamic customs, Alhaja Anifowoshe was laid to rest on the same day, attracting a large crowd to the somber burial ceremony.
Per Second News further learnt that preparations are now underway for her 8-day Fidau prayer, as family, friends, and fans gather to honor her memory.
PSN also observed how Nollywood actors were seen arriving at Kwam1’s Ijebu Ode home to commiserate with him and his family.
Femi Adebayo engaged in an emotional conversation with the Fuji maestro, during which Kwam1 offered heartfelt prayers for the actor.
Speaking with Per Second News, Adebayo said he had to put everything on hold for K1 who is a legend and a father figure for him and some of his colleagues, adding that “the next 24 hours will see rise in the number of my colleagues that will be on ground to support Mayegun”, he said
Mercy Aigbe and her husband were also seen exchanging comforting words with the singer’s wife, Emmanuella Ropo.
Dayo Amusa made her visit even more personal by bringing along her newborn child.
The actress, who welcomed her first child just two months ago, is known to share a close friendship with Kwam1.
Her presence, accompanied by her baby, added a poignant touch to the occasion.
Earlier in the week, actress Faithia Williams also visited Kwam1 to express her condolences.
In a touching moment captured on video, Faithia was seen holding hands with Emmanuella Ropo as they moved through the house, offering support to the grieving family.

In a heartfelt note shared on social media, she described Alhaja Halima as a jewel who embodied the true essence of motherhood.
She praised her for her wisdom, unwavering love, and nurturing spirit, which she said would remain a guiding light in her life.
The tribute also highlighted the special bond Emmanuella shared with her mother-in-law, drawing parallels between her and Emmanuella’s own late mother.
“She had ears that listened, arms that always held, and a heart of gold,” Emmanuella wrote, emphasising the profound impact Alhaja Halima had on her life.
Tragedy struck twice for the Fuji maestro’s family, as news of his mother’s death came just a day after he lost one of his wives, Alhaja Hafsat Anifowoshe.
The 65-year-old passed away from an undisclosed illness and was buried immediately at Abari Cemetery, Lagos, in line with Islamic customs.
Despite the double loss, Kwam1 has been surrounded by a strong support system, with friends and colleagues rallying to provide comfort.
Fans and well-wishers have taken to social media to express their condolences and share prayers for the family.
Many have praised the resilience of Kwam1 and his family in the face of such profound loss.
