War is over, Angela Okorie and Zubby Michael declare as they reunite

Nollywood stars Angela Okorie and Zubby Michael have left fans talking after rekindling their strained relationship that lingered for some time, with Okorie delivering a heartfelt message on the power of forgiveness.

Taking to Instagram, Angela Okorie shared moments of their reunion, including photos and videos of them enjoying a drive together.

The actress used the opportunity to reflect on the importance of letting go of grudges, emphasizing how forgiveness can unlock life-changing blessings.

“God’s blessings are tied to forgiveness,” she said. “Bitterness is a controlling force that hinders breakthroughs. The person you hold in unforgiveness could be the key to tomorrow’s success.”

Okorie stressed that holding onto offences not only weighs people down emotionally but can also block opportunities and even affect physical health.

In her post, she elaborated: “Bitterness makes you struggle with life’s battles. It can hinder blessings and open doors to sickness. When you retain offences, you are detained at the same time.

“Forgiveness has the power to turn everything around and move God to show mercy instead of judgment.”

This public reconciliation marks a significant moment for the duo, especially given their tumultuous history.

Okorie had previously criticized Zubby Michael for his perceived lack of public mourning over their late colleague, Junior Pope.

She claimed Zubby’s conflicts with others in the industry stemmed from his desire to be seen as Nollywood’s top figure.

“A few months ago, Angela accused Zubby of fighting everyone in the industry, including the late Junior Pope,” a source close to the situation revealed.

“She felt his actions were self-serving and lacked compassion.”

However, their recent reunion appears to have dissolved past tensions.

In a heartwarming video, the two were seen smoking together and sharing laughter, signaling a fresh start. Both stars declared it was “all love” from their side, leaving fans relieved and inspired by the display of reconciliation.

The reunion sparked widespread discussion online, with many praising Angela for her wisdom on forgiveness and Zubby for embracing the moment.

Social media users commended the actors for setting an example of humility and personal growth.
