Embattled Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James Omiyinja, widely known as Baba Ijesha, has once again stirred public conversation after recounting his time behind bars while firmly denying allegations of sexual misconduct.

Speaking during a recent appearance on the Talk to B Podcast monitored by Persecondnews, the actor delivered an emotional account of his ordeal, insisting that the narrative widely circulated on social media does not reflect what truly transpired.

Baba Ijesha denied ever having any form of romantic or physical relationship with actress Damilola Adekoya, popularly known as Princess.

According to him, “I never asked her out, never dated her, never hugged or kissed her,” as he sought to distance himself from claims linking them beyond a professional relationship.

He further alleged a pattern of strained relationships around Princess, claiming she has had fallouts with several individuals within her circle.

The actor suggested that these personal conflicts may have contributed to the controversy surrounding him.

The actor also addressed his long-standing relationship with fellow actress Iyabo Ojo, expressing disappointment over her involvement in the saga.

He recalled moments of trust in the past, noting that she once left her children, including Priscilla Ojo, in his care.

Despite his reservations, Baba Ijesha struck a restrained tone when speaking about Iyabo Ojo, describing her as someone he had mentored in the past.

“She is my product, so I cannot hurt her,” he said, suggesting a complex mix of loyalty and emotional pain.

Addressing the allegations directly, the actor made a strong declaration of innocence, stating that if the accusations were true, he should never have left prison alive.

“I am not a rapist, I am not a paedophile, and I will never be,” he insisted, maintaining that the events in question have been widely misrepresented in public discourse.

Baba Ijesha also claimed that there is a witness who can corroborate his version of events, although he did not provide specific details during the interview.

Taking a final swipe at social media, the actor labeled it a toxic environment responsible for amplifying falsehoods and deepening his crisis.

These new revelations will undoubtedly spark fresh conversation surrounding a case that has gripped the nation and divided the entertainment world for years.
