For allegedly importing 700g of cocaine into the country, a 50-year-old Nigerian businessman, who has been living in Brazil for 35 years, has been apprehended by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Lagos.
The suspect was caught by NDLEA operatives on Friday, November 29, at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Ikeja, Lagos.
He had arrived from Sao Paulo, Brazil via Addis Ababa on an Ethiopian Airlines flight.

A statement by Babafemi given to Persecondnews said: “When he was taken for body scan, the result confirmed that the suspect had foreign objects concealed in his stomach.
“As a result, he was placed under excretion observation during which he expelled 29 wraps of substances that tested positive to cocaine weighing 700grams.
