Ex-Senate Pres. David Mark condoles with THE CONCLAVE Publisher, Sufuyan Ojeifo, on mother’s death

Former Senate President David Mark has extended heartfelt condolences to Mr. Sufuyan Ojeifo, publisher and editor-in-chief of THE CONCLAVE online newspaper, on the passing of his mother, Madam Aishetu Ojeifo.

Persecondnews reports that Madam Aishetu died on October 12, 2024, at her residence in Owo, Ondo State, following a brief illness, just two months shy of her 92nd birthday.

In a condolence letter dated October 14, 2024, Senator Mark expressed sadness over the loss of the Ojeifo family matriarch, extolling her legacy and values.

He highlighted Sufuyan’s commitment to balanced journalism, professionalism, humility, and kindness as a testament to his mother’s positive influence.

The letter read:s “Your mother’s legacy lives on through the values she instilled in you, May her soul rest in peace, and may you find strength in the support of loved ones, colleagues, and the entire Conclave family.

“You are known for being reliable, deep in thought, and humble in action; may these traits carry you through this challenging period.

“Your logically critical mind is now clouded by grief but find solace in the cherished memories of your mother’s love and guidance.

“May her soul rest in peace, and may you find strength in the support of loved ones, colleagues and the entire Conclave family.”

He urged Sufuyan to find solace in cherished memories of his mother’s love and guidance during this challenging period.

Madam Aishetu’s funeral is scheduled for November 22, 2024.
