Days after revealing that his kidney transplant had failed, Nigerian music video director TG Omori has provided an encouraging update on his health, eliciting an outpouring of support from fans and fellow celebrities.

Omori, who had previously shared the challenging news of his failed kidney transplant, expressed gratitude and optimism in his latest update.

In a heartfelt message, Omori wrote: “Up and grateful, o Lord. (Sadly, I can’t backflip.) Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes, I’m healing now from the stitches of the failed one, I’ll continue the fight, been on it for the past year or two, and I can’t back down now. Love y’all so much. Can’t wait to make new, crowded music videos for y’all.”

Omori’s update came in the wake of his earlier announcement about the failed kidney transplant, which had initially alarmed his supporters.

He had previously shared that the procedure, which involved receiving a kidney from his brother, did not succeed as hoped.

“One year after my kidney crashed, I just had a failed transplant at St. Nicolas Lagos. Pray for me,” he had written, highlighting the severity of his health situation.

The news of his failed transplant sparked an outpouring of support from both fans and Nigerian celebrities.

The comment section of his post became a platform for get-well wishes and prayers, reflecting the widespread concern for Omori’s well-being.

Among the celebrities who reached out, singer Davido commented, “You’re up already! IJN,” offering his encouragement and support.

Fireboy DML also expressed his solidarity, stating, “Yes! God is with you, soldier.”

These messages of support underscore the strong sense of community and camaraderie within the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Singer Teni also joined the chorus of support, writing, “Love you mahn! UP ALREADY IJN.”.

The support from the Nigerian celebrity community not only serves as a source of comfort for Omori but also reflects the broader public’s empathy and concern for his health.

Their well wishes and prayers are a testament to the strong bonds within the entertainment industry and the collective hope for his recovery.

As Omori continues to recover from the setbacks of his failed transplant, his determination to persevere and resume his work in the music video industry is evident.

His latest update indicates that despite the challenges, he remains focused on his passion and eager to return to his creative endeavours.

The positive response from fans and celebrities alike is a crucial aspect of his recovery journey, providing emotional support and encouragement as he navigates this difficult period.

With the continued prayers and best wishes from his community, there is a shared hope that Omori will overcome these health challenges and continue to contribute to the vibrant world of Nigerian music and entertainment.
