Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, has once again found himself at the centre of a public altercation, this time involving a motorcyclist.

Recently returned from the US, Portable was involved in a street brawl in Lagos, accusing the bike man of stealing his phone.

Videos circulating online and obtained by Per Second News showed the singer, dressed in a yellow hoodie, engaged in a fistfight while bystanders attempted to intervene.

Portable has been involved in controversies since entering the music industry with his hit song “Zazu” three years ago.

As the footage of his latest altercation went viral, social media users were quick to express their disapproval.

Many voiced their concerns about Portable’s frequent involvement in such incidents.

Oba Catalyst commented:“This guy needs a good medical (psychologist and therapist) team around him 24/7. He needs help.”

Taiwo Junzi added: “His management has a lot of work to do before he becomes more infamous than he already is.”

Oludare Omotolani also remarked:“No wonder God separated him from Davido by fire, by thunder.”

Jey Nnie questioned: “How did this guy become a celebrity, Biko?” while Slim Kiki echoed: “But how did this guy end up being a celebrity?”

Banti Blogger noted: “See person wey just come back from Yankee.”

Miss Chidel wondered: “Why is it that he’s always trending for the wrongest things, eh? Portable is actually a case study.”

Lauly Fabulous observed: “Funny thing is that he was so calm in America. Why didn’t he misbehave there?”

Esquare, a Nigerian-American singer, reportedly beat Portable earlier this year after they failed to perform at their show.

Portable claimed he was attacked by 40 people, resulting in serious injuries and a broken leg. However, Esquare denied these allegations, offering a different version of events.

Following the altercation, Portable found himself in the hospital, prompting public inquiries into why no one was pursuing justice for him despite the evidence.

This latest incident has once again highlighted the ongoing controversy surrounding Portable, with many social media users criticizing his behaviour and questioning his celebrity status.
