Social media abuzz with reactions as Nigerian man “buries” himself alive for 24 hours

Mixed reactions have greeted a viral video of Young C, a Nigerian who reportedly challenged himself to spend 24 hours alive in a coffin on social media, Persecondnews reports.

While some express disbelief, calling it a mere experiment to gain world attention and probably win the Guinness Book of Records for the longest-buried man alive, others see it as interesting and entertaining.

To some, he is simply trying God, and to others, he is doing rituals.

The young man said in a series of posts shared via his Instagram page on Wednesday that the stunt was genuine and not for a cruise.

He posted a video from inside a coffin, sharing updates on his recent experience as a living man “buried alive.”

The video shows the man connecting a bulb for illumination and an extension wire inside the coffin to enable him to charge his mobile phone.

According to him, having his phone on will enable him to give updates while in the coffin.

Young C claimed that he had been in the ground for more than 8 hours and was physically uncomfortable, including excessive sweating.

“I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake, and the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night,” he wrote.

After spending several hours underground, he appeared so exhausted and expressed gratitude to finally feel the natural air, as shown by the video.
