Breaking: Ex-Aviation Minister Sirika, daughter, two others arraigned, granted N400m bail

A Federal Capital Territory High Court on Thursday granted Hadi Sirika, former aviation minister, her daughter, and two others bail in the sum of N100 million each following their arraignment for N2.7 billion fraud.

They are also granted two sureties each, who must have landed properties in Abuja and be responsible citizens.

The sureties must depose to an affidavit of means.

The court also prohibits the defendants from travelling abroad without permission.

Justice Oriji ordered that the defendants should be remanded in prison custody if they failed to meet their bail conditions.

The defendants are on trial for an alleged N2.7 billion fraud, according to Persecondnews.
