In a display of gratitude and admiration, Senator Iyiola Omisore, a prominent figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former gubernatorial candidate in Osun State, has presented the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeleye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja III, with a lavish gift — a bulletproof Cadillac Escalade.

The gesture, characterised by its grandeur and significance, underscores Omisore’s deep appreciation for the monarch’s unwavering commitment to fostering unity among the people, not only within the confines of Ife but also across the broader spectrum of the nation.

Hailing from Ife himself, Omisore expressed his profound respect for the first-class monarch, emphasizing his pivotal role in promoting harmony and cohesion within the community and beyond.

The senator highlighted Ooni’s fatherly guidance and his instrumental contributions to the overarching unity of the country as motivating factors behind the generous gift.

In a heartfelt response, the Ooni of Ife, visibly moved by the gesture, acknowledged Omisore’s desire to keep the presentation discreet and private.

However, recognizing the significance of the occasion and the magnitude of the gift, the monarch graciously accepted it, albeit with a public acknowledgment befitting its magnitude.

Expressing his gratitude and appreciation, the Ooni offered prayers and heartfelt thanks to Omisore for the monumental gift, which symbolises not only material generosity but also a deep-seated bond of respect and admiration between two influential figures in Nigerian society.
