Actor Timini Egbuson, a prominent figure in Nigeria’s film industry, opened up about the biggest regret that lingers in his heart.

The actor confessed that not settling down early in life ranks as one of his greatest regrets.

Reflecting on the paths not taken, Timini expressed a wistful longing for a simpler, more grounded existence—one that would have seen him embracing the roles of husband and father long before now.

In his talks, Timini envisioned an alternate reality where he would have already experienced the joys and challenges of parenthood.

He noted and shared that, had he chosen to settle down earlier, he might have been blessed with a teenage son or daughter by now.

“The thought of missed opportunities weighs heavily on my mind and sometimes prompts me to contemplate what could have been.”

Timini, who featured in Funke Akindele’s blockbuster movie, A Tribe Called Judah, noted that it is hard to find true love because you can’t always be sure that the person you love will love you back in return.

“You can’t be perfect. It is like a gamble. If you win, you win, and if you lose, you lose.”
