Movie producer Toyin Abraham is basking in the glow of success as her latest movie, “Malaika,” achieves a milestone at the box office, crossing the 300 million naira mark.

The achievement comes as a triumphant turnaround for Abraham, who recently voiced her frustration over the rampant piracy plaguing the film industry.

Just days prior, she had expressed dismay at the unauthorized distribution of her movie, with pirated links circulating widely on social media platforms, including Telegram.

However, the tide swiftly shifted as audiences flocked to theatres to experience “Malaika,” propelling it to new success.

In a statement released by the actress, Abraham expressed gratitude to divine providence and her loyal fans, whose unwavering support propelled “Malaika” to soaring heights at the box office.

Abraham celebrated the movie’s meteoric rise, proclaiming it the 9th highest-grossing film of all time in Nigeria.

Despite the initial setback of piracy, Abraham’s unwavering determination shone through as “Malaika” emerged triumphant, captivating audiences and shattering box office records along the way.
