Iconic actor, John Okafor, fondly known as Mr. Ibu, has lost one of his legs after undergoing seven surgeries.

The family said the doctors were forced to amputate one of his legs.

For weeks, Mr. Ibu had been confined to the sickbed, grappling with a severe medical condition that cast a shadow over his well-being.

The news of his health struggle has touched the hearts of fans and well-wishers worldwide, igniting a wave of support and compassion for the beloved actor as he embarks on his journey towards recovery.

A statement by the family on Monday confirmed the unfortunate amputation.

“This development has been hard on us all but we had to accept the reality that our dad will no be able to use his two legs again.”

The Okafor family called for more support and prayers as they hope that Mr Ibu comes out of the current predicament alive.
