Amid social media backlash over the real cause of her husband’s death, Omowumi, the grieving wife of former music star, Mohbad, has released a statement addressing the swirling rumors and unverified information surrounding his untimely demise.

Mohbad, a former member of Naira Marley’s Marlian Records label, died on September 12, and questions surrounding the circumstances of his death have persisted with public opinion heavily divided.

In a short message that emanated from the widow and obtained by Per Second News, she expressed her decision not to comment on the death of her husband and the myriad of unverified claims circulating in the media.

She emphasized her desire to mourn in private, shielded from the prying eyes and speculative discourse that has emerged in the wake of his passing.

The widow’s choice of silence has come under fire on social media, where some users have criticized her for withholding information and not sharing insights into the events leading up to Mohbad’s death.

However, she stated she would be willing to speak and grant a press conference to clear her name only after Coroner’s inquest.

The circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death have triggered a series of investigations, with the police conducting a post-mortem examination on the late artist’s body.

Additionally, a Coroner inquest is scheduled to reconvene on November 7 to further probe the matter and shed light on the events that led to the tragic loss.

As the world awaits further developments in the investigation and the truth behind Mohbad’s passing, the widow’s silence speaks volumes about her personal journey through grief and loss.
