There seems to be more troubles for embattled singer and founder of Marlian Music as the the House of Representatives has summoned him to appear before it .
The summons, Per Second News gathered, is to address the matter of securing the musical rights of the late singer, Mohbad, who tragically passed on September 12.
Mohbad’s death has raised many questions for weeks as Police continue to provide answers to such questions being asked about circumstances leading to his death.
It was also gathered that, Jiggy Adeoye, who served as Mohbad’s manager during his lifetime, has also been called to appear before the House of Representatives as part of the ongoing inquiry.
A letter signed by the House Committee on Youths, Justice, and Legislative Affairs, and released by the Clerk, Yusuf Ibrahim, conveyed the official summons to both Naira Marley and Mohbad’s former manager.
The letter highlighted the necessity of their presence to guide the committee’s investigation into the matter.
The summoning of Marley and Adeoye underscores the importance of resolving the issue of musical rights and any potential legal or contractual obligations associated with the late Mohbad’s work.
