Worried about the deficit of infrastructural development in Nigeria, comedian I Go Dye has questioned the mindset of many Nigerian leaders, saying he couldn’t understand how they think.

The comedian on his recent visit to Malta said he was shocked to see the level of development in a country that doesn’t have anything but mere a tourist location where people visit.

He said with all the resources in Nigeria, it is sad that Nigeria remained backward and doesn’t seem to be getting things right with its abundance of fuel, lands and other resources.

According to him, if Malta could be making money from tourism, Nigeria with vast of lands and body of water has no reason to remain where it is, calling on the leaders to check themselves.

“ I think our leaders are just wicked to the citizens. I don’t know if they don’t see the beautiful things in other foreign countries they visited or they just choose to be wicked and ignore the fact that same could be replicated in our country.

“Nigerian leaders make us feel like only those who travel abroad to take pictures are better Nigerians. As giant of Africa, we can’t do anything right let alone copy any good that could transform our country. It is sad,” he said.
