Breaking: FCMB founding Chairman/CEO, Otunba Subomi Balogun exits

Otunba Tunwase of Ijebuland, Olori Omoba of Ijebuland and the Asiwaju of Ijebu Christians, Otunba Michael Subomi Balogun, founder of First City Monument Bank (FCMB), has gone to the great beyond.

Aged 89, Balogun, the right hand man of Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, passed on in a London hospital during a brief illness.

Although, the details about his death still remains sketchy, Persecondnews reports that the late banker and billionaire has been out of public glare for sometime.

The late philanthropist had built and donated a National Pediatric Centre in Ijebu-Ode to the University of Ibadan College Teaching Hospital (UCH).
