Thugs disrupt polls in Bayelsa, burn election materials

Some thugs on Saturday invaded three wards in Ogbia Constituency 2 in Bayelsa State, hijacked and burnt election materials.

Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) deployed to the polling units were chased away.

At the time of filing this report, there is no indication that election would hold in Ogbia Constituency 2.
