A twin explosion has ripped through a rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, leaving several people injured.
The explosion, according to reports reaching Persecondnews, had on Thursday afternoon bursted out at the venue of the rally at Rumuwoji Playground in the Garden City.
At the time of this report, at least three people were rushed to the hospital for urgent medical attention.
Confirming the incident, the Publicity Secretary of APC in the state, Mr Darlington Nwauju, described it as unfortunate.
Police spokesperson in the state, ASP Iringe Koko, has yet to issue a statement on the mishap or reacted.
